Rain of Shine!
Seattle NABA will be holding tryouts on Sunday, March 9th at Lower Woodland Park, on the corner of 50th and Green Lake. This is one of Seattle’s finest fields with a new and improved layout, overseen by the Seattle Mariners field crew personally.
What you need to know and bring on the 9th:
1) Any and all sporting equipment that you feel is necessary for you to perform optimally at your position. This would include your glove, bat, helmet, glasses, etc. if you are a catcher and would like to tryout for this position it would be well advised to wear a cup and bring your gear if you have it. We will have minimal equipment on hand, though we will have bats if you would like to use one.
2) Please be prepared to pay your $395 league fee via cash check or chard. You will not pay unless a team picks you up, however we try and find a team for everyone. If for some reason you are not drafted your name will be placed on a list for teams that are looking for additional players.
3) Bring a bright and cheerful smile as we will all continue to be the boys of summer in our hearts as we partake on the 2014 season together.
4) The field opens up at 5pm sharp on Sunday March 9th, Please arrive a little early to fill out paperwork, remember it is daylight savings so please be on time.
Last but not least our next managers meeting is set for March 16th, all remaining team fee’s are expected to be collected at that time.
